Why This Integration is Important

ReAdmin’s new integration process offers several advantages:

  • Improved Efficiency: Optimizes HTTP requests to enhance performance.
  • Rate Limit Reduction: Minimizes the risk of exceeding Roblox’s service-wide rate limits.
  • Enhanced Security: Uses OAuth for secure access to Roblox data.
  • Future Features: Supports the use of Universe Messaging Service for advanced communication with Roblox.

How to Set Up Roblox Integration

Setting up the integration is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Automation Integrations:

    • Go to your ReAdmin workspace settings.
    • Open the Automation Integrations page.

  2. Link OAuth:

    • Click the Link OAuth button to begin the setup.
    • You will be redirected to the Roblox OAuth flow.

  3. Authorize ReAdmin:

    • Review and approve the following scopes during the OAuth flow:
      • openid
      • profile
      • universe-messaging-service:publish - You must select all games you plan to use ReAdmin with to ensure proper functionality.
      • group:read
      • group:write
      • legacy-group:manage

  4. Complete the Setup:

    • Once the OAuth flow is complete, you’ll be redirected back to ReAdmin.
    • Your workspace integration will now be active and ready to use.

Next Steps

With the integration active:

  • ReAdmin will automatically fetch and update your Roblox data.
  • Future features, such as using the Universe Messaging Service to communicate with the Roblox loader, will be enabled for your workspace.
  • Roblox requires all OAuth grants to be revalidated every 6 months for security reasons. We’ll notify you before that time arrives — but if it’s not done your workspace will stop syncing with Roblox.
