Roblox Login Updates
Enhanced Security and Permissions. Authenticating with Roblox has changed, here’s what you need to know.
ReAdmin is committed to maintaining the highest standards of security for our users. To improve your experience and ensure secure workspace management, we’ve updated the permissions requested during Roblox authentication.
What’s Changing?
The process of logging into ReAdmin remains the same, but we now request elevated “High Risk” scopes to support enhanced features and functionality. These permissions empower you to manage your Roblox groups more effectively while maintaining a secure environment.
Permissions We Now Request
When you log in, you’ll notice that ReAdmin requests the following permissions:
- Write Groups: For secure ranking and managing group roles.
- Read Groups: To display and manage your group’s structure.
- Legacy Manage Groups: For secure group management using Roblox’s legacy group APIs (these APIs are still maintained by Roblox and do not yet exist in a non-legacy version).
- Publish Messaging Service: Needed for workspace integration (soon required for using our Roblox module).
- Read User ID: To verify user identities securely.
- Read User Profile: For accurate profile linking and personalization.
Why These Permissions?
These permissions are essential for providing you with advanced tools like secure ranking in workspaces. They also ensure that you, as the user, remain responsible for all actions taken within your workspaces.
